Tie-dyeing is an ancient anti-dyeing technique in our country with a long history and is an intangible cultural heritage of our country. Tie-dye pretreatment
1. Desizing: The purpose is to remove the sizing agent, and the fabric can be desized by boiling the fabric with lye, oxidant or amylase and other agents. Dosage: The medicine is 3% of the cloth weight, and the water is about 30 times the cloth weight.
2. Refining: The purpose is to remove the natural magazine and residual slurry on the fiber, and then boil it with caustic soda and water. Dosage: Caustic soda is 3% of cloth weight, and water is about 30 times of cloth weight.
3. Bleaching: used to remove pigments and residual impurities, usually sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen oxide is boiled in water. Dosage: The bleaching agent is 3% of the cloth weight, and the water is about 30 times the cloth weight. In addition, the pre-treatment of silk is refined with soap, sodium carbonate and water.
4. Ironing for use: Use an iron to iron the rinsed cloth for drawing patterns and binding.
